Farewell to Jacksonville!

For the past eight years, Steven and I have lived in Jacksonville, Florida. Steven will be graduating from Embry Riddle University with Magna Cum Laude honors in May. He will be receiving a Bachelors degree in Professional Aeronautics. He will also be receiving an Associates degree in Management along with another Associates degree in Safety. He has finished these degrees in only a two-year time span while dedicating full time to his job with the United States Navy and having a newborn baby as well. O.K., so I am bragging a little bit...I am just very proud of him!!! Jacksonville has been the canvas for many of our special memories. Last year on March 8th at 10:15AM, we had our first son, Steven Baylor Johnson, at the Naval Air Station of Jacksonville Hospital. We lived at Oakleaf Plantaion and Fleming Island Plantation during our stay here. Jacksonville has been a nice place to live but we never felt comfortable calling it "HOME.” I guess that is why they say, "Home is where the heart is,” because our hearts have always been in Louisiana with our family and friends. Now it is time to close one chapter in our lives and begin a new. So, farewell Jacksonville...It has been fun!

Hey MK, We will be in LP and BR back and forth for the month of April. Steven is just waiting on the best job that comes available. We are hoping for BR, NO, or Jackson. Just close to home. I will keep you posted. I love that picture too. I think that I will be buying it soon. Take care of yourself and that little baby. LKJ

Hey Lynn Kate,
I'm a friend of your cousin Krissy and actually went to school at Forest with Steven. I came across your blog through Jaime's, & I just wanted to say thanks for plugging me in your Delta Do's! Baylor is so precious and looks just like his daddy. (I bet you get tired of hearing that!) Love your blog and there is nothing like home.
