We Will Miss You Big John!

Today my little brother, Patrick, lost one of his best friends. His name was John Clinton Roland. We all called him Big John. There was never a time when I can remember Big John without a huge grin on his face. He was the most generous and caring person ever. He was always so courteous and such a gentleman. Whether he was asked to do a little favor or a huge favor, he always said yes mam or sir and did it with a smile. I put this song on my blog because every time Big John would walk into our house, Patrick would start singing "Bigggg Johnnnn" and of course John would just grin from ear to ear. We will miss you more than you know John. We love you!

Sesame Street Live!!!

Today I took Baylor to see Sesame Street Live while Steven was at work! He absolutely loved it! We had popcorn and cotton candy. Baylor danced and clapped through the whole show. He was so into it! I think I enjoyed watching him more than anything. We had such a good time. Life is good!!!

Well, here is monkey boy eating some breakfast before heading off to school this morning. I am not sure what is going on with the hat but he insisted on wearing it to school today. Valentine's Day Weekend!

This past weekend my big brother, Houston, drove all the way from Baton Rouge to come and see us. He brought us a fresh King Cake and some yummy hot cajun sausage. We have been trying to teach Baylor how to say his name for a while and it always came out, Hust. By the end of the week he was saying Hoouton. We figured that was good enough. Baylor just loves his Uncle Hoouton. He would just laugh and giggle with him about absolutely nothing. While Houston was visting Leslie and Sidney came over as well. We did nothing but lay around and eat. Houston, thank you so much for coming to visit us. We hope to see you soon! Oh yeah, and thank you Big Top and Lili for sending Baylor all the Valentine's Day goodies and the movie. He loved it!!!
