Dinner at the Harbor!

On Saturday, Steven actually got a day off so we decided to go down to the harbor and eat dinner at Blue Canyon. The restaurant did not open until five o'clock so we decided to walk down to the water and check out the boats and the pretty water fountain. Well, when we got to the water fountain, little kids were running through the water and having a blast. Needless to say, Baylor is not much of a spectator. He joined them as soon as we turned him loose. He was soaked and grinning from ear to ear. Being that we were going to eat at a very nice restaurant and Baylor was a bit wet, we had to find a store that sold clothes in his size. After asking around, we finally found a t-shirt shop and a towel. The manager of the store was nice enough to let us change him in the dressing room and then off to dinner in a t-shirt and a diaper. This was definitely a first!

Bass Pro Shop Outing!

This past weekend Kacky drove from Baton Rouge to spend the weekend with us. Steven had to work all day on Friday so we decided to go to the Bass Pro Shop to pass some time until he got off. Baylor had a great time looking at all of the animals and hanging out with Kacky! Thanks for coming out to visit us Mom. We had a great time!!!

Patty Cake, Patty Cake!

This weekend Steven has been planting flowerbeds, hanging pictures, hooking up our exterior lighting, hanging chandeliers, and more! Baylor loves to "help" and he somehow manages to get right in the way. Considering that Daddy was very busy and our "help" was not really needed, we decided to bake sugar cookies. As you can see, Baylor had fun rolling and patting out the dough. He especially loved the sprinkles! Thank you for all your hard work, Steven. Everything looks great. We love you!!!

Happy 4th!!!

Baylor and I played all day waiting on Daddy to get home from work so we could go to the parade downtown. We played with his toys, read about twenty books, played in the tub for a good thirty minutes, and we acted silly in front of the mirror with the camera. Unfortunately, Steven did not get home until 6:15 and the parade started at six. Since the parade had already begun, we decided to get a bite to eat and then come back to the house and watch the fireworks. At first, he was unsure about the loud noises but then he acted as if nothing was going on. He just ran around and played in the yard. We had a good day and we hope that all of you did as well!
